These chrome plated tapered springs are the perfect solution to running a coil-over suspension on your Mustang II or earlier model GM muscle cars . They are 8" tall and feature a 2 1/2" id bottom coil to fit most standard sized coil-over shocks like the PRO ASB/SR series. The spring tapers up to a larger i.d. to fit the stock upper spring pocket of the car. This tapered design allows for more spring travel and doesnt require upper spring pocket modification like you run into when using a standard coil-over type spring.

10 GM Series Spring

The PRO GM coil-over conversion spring is 4" inside diameter at the top so it will fit the stock upper spring pocket of 1970-81 Camaros and most 1973+ GM cars without modification; however it tapers to 2 1/2" I.D. on the bottom end so it can be used for ride height adjustment when using a coil-over front shock like the PRO C200. As GM did not design its front suspension to accept a true coil-over spring, this tapered coil gives better travel and makes installation a snap!

10 SR Series Spring

This tapered design allows more spring travel and doesn't require upper spring pocket modification that is required when using a standard coil-over type spring.
